Volunteers are needed for food distribution at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Pleasantville. We meet the 4th Tuesday of each month at 8am and distribute food from the Community Food Bank to over 150 families. Contact Sharon Eaton if you have any questions or if you are interested in volunteering.
Heart and Soul, a group focused on deepening and broadening our spirituality, will begin reading Anne Lamott’s “Plan B: Further Thoughts on Faith”. Lamott is a modern day essayist and Presbyterian, who writes of her faith in common modern day language. See Joan Kenny for a book. The group meets at 10am on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month for approximately 90 minutes and explores Art and the Scriptures.
