Upcoming Events

Bag Recycling Project

We will be collecting your excess clean, gently used, re-usable bags to be used in food distribution programs in our community, including our own Rooted in Love Garden. This low-effort, zero-dollar campaign promises a triple-win: the food programs will save on the cost of buying bags, bags will get re-used, and households that might not have enough bags will receive them with their food. We have a collection box in the church. Please don’t buy new bags for this effort!

AIM Woman's Brunch

On May 11th at 11am, we are having a woman's brunch to assemble blessing bags for Angels in Motion (AIM).  Pick an angel or two from the tree in the HUB and bring those items to donate. That will be your ticket to the brunch. All are welcome.

Earth Day T-Shirt Project

After church on April 21st we will have a fun upcycling project. Know what else piles up around the house besides bags? T-shirts! They are still in good shape, but we don’t wear them, why not turn them into bags? With a few simple snips and one straight seam, we’ll make old shirts into washable, stretchy, re-usable bags. Earth Care will walk you through the project step-by-step. This activity is suitable for all ages. Bring your own shirt(s) and/or donate shirts for others to convert to bags. Starting April 14th, a collection box will be set up to donate shirts.
